Gillette Law’s goal is to aggressively defend your rights, give the best customer service and to get the best outcome for your case for a reasonable fee. We will help you understand your options and advocate for you through the process to obtain that best result.
Meet Jeff Gillette, he’s the Attorney.
He’s fluent in English, ancient Hebrew, and computer code. He’s also a computer geek and puzzle solver. He loves games – and loves to win. He’s always up for a challenge….whether negotiating a separation agreement or a plea bargain, but don’t ask him to choose paint colors or cook.
He’s not scared of anything- rafting over 10 foot high waterfall, zipping over the New River Gorge, two week trials or even chaperoning middle school youth group weekends.
He’s an Ordained minister, and is confident speaking in front of people in a church, or to a jury, or to the judge.
He gives back to his community – through his church, the Rotary Club, and through organizations that assist youth in schools and the rights of Latinos and mentally ill.
He’s originally from Michigan (ask him and he’ll show you where using his hand), but has lived in North Carolina for over 30 years. He moved to Franklin from the Raleigh area. Jeff received his J.D. from Campbell Law School, and opened Gillette Law to protect and defend those who are about to lose their freedom or lose their family.
In his spare time, he enjoys whitewater rafting, flying on a zip line, listening to bluegrass, tinkering in the workshop and exploring these beautiful mountains. He is married to Sharon, and has three grown children.
Meet Sharon Ramsey, she’s the Paralegal and the Office Manager.
She’s a science geek. She loves solving puzzles and mysteries, and hates to lose as well. Don’t try to hide information or assets from her…she spent many years as a Food Scientist and research lab manager at NC State University and knows how and where to find all kinds of information, but don’t ask her to find the missing socks from the laundry.
She grew up in Franklin, and left to attend NC State University. After graduating and spending 31 years working at NC State, she retired and immediately took classes to become a paralegal so she could manage the office and assist Jeff in his cases. She is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal.
She loves to organize events and volunteer in the community. So organizing your case documents is her cup of tea. She also loves to cook, garden, hike, travel, take photographs and encourage others to visit Franklin. She’s looking forward to continuing to volunteer for several organizations in Franklin. She is married to Jeff, and has three grown children.
